We originally learned this piece for the concerto competition at the Mannes School of Music in New York. Unfortunately we didn’t win, but we put so much work into this that we knew we needed to record it.
There are few recordings of this full piece online as far as we could tell, and none with piano version, so this was a unique opportunity to create something new and present this piece in a fresh way.
